1. General information

2. Use of the website

The content of this website is for information purposes. We reserve the right to change the content, the services presented and these terms at any time, without prior notice. Using the site for illegal purposes, to transmit harmful content or to disrupt its operation is prohibited.

3. Intellectual property

The content of this site (texts, graphics, logos, structure) belongs to CAT IT SOLUTIONS or its partners and is protected by copyright law. Reproduction without written consent is prohibited.

4. Limitation of liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information published accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee it is error-free. The Company is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, this website.

5. Personal data protection (GDPR)

We process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and applicable Romanian law. CAT IT SOLUTIONS acts as data controller.

5.1. What data we collect

  • Data submitted through forms (contact, quote request): name, email address, phone number, company name (optional) and the content of your message.
  • Technical data: IP address and browser type (user agent), collected when forms are submitted, for security and abuse prevention.
  • Cookies: as described in our Cookie Policy.

5.2. Purposes and legal bases

  • Responding to your requests and preparing quotes — basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Website security and abuse prevention — basis: our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Usage statistics (analytics cookies) — basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

5.3. How long we keep the data

Messages and quote requests are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for a potential collaboration, but no longer than 3 years from the last contact, unless the law requires otherwise.

5.4. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your data. We may share it only with providers that help us operate the site (web hosting, email services — Microsoft 365), contractually bound to protect it, or with public authorities where required by law.

5.5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing). To exercise these rights, write to office@catitsolutions.com — we will reply within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we process your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP) — www.dataprotection.ro.

5.6. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), secure storage, restricted access and access monitoring on our systems.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes will be settled amicably or, failing that, by the competent courts of Romania.
